Cheshire 99 - Shelton 66

The Gaels who were “promoted” to the top tier of the SCC felt a few lumps today when they took on the Rams of Cheshire.  Cheshire rolled in and rolled out quickly today, the meet just under an hour but Cheshire overwhelmed Shelton with depth. Shelton’s stars, Chavez and Wronski both came away with two individual wins but the other events went Cheshire.

It felt like both teams showed up for the meet and handled business adequately but both still have a lot to show.  I think many of the swimmers in this meet today will be swimming at the end of the season in the final heats but today just going through the motions.
