Darien's Jeff Brameier Named NILCA 2014 Coach of the Year

Baltimore, MD : The National Interscholastic Lacrosse Coaches Association presented their 2014 Coach of the Year Award to Jeff Brameier, head coach at Darien High School (CT), at the IMLCA Convention on Saturday.
Brameier led Darien High School's, 2014 undefeated (23-0), Connecticut State champion, one of the top-ranked teams in the country. This was his 10th career state lacrosse championship. Entering his 33rd year, Brameier has amassed a record of 506 and 127.
"NILCA is truly proud to have named Coach Brameier as our NILCA Coach of the Year," said Ren Pettinelli, President of the National Interscholastic Lacrosse Coaches Association. "Brameier is synonymous with Darien HS, not just because of lacrosse, but because of his passion for all students and the community of Darien as a whole."
NILCA was formed to provide dedicated service to high school lacrosse coaches throughout the United States. NILCA seeks to identify and provide solutions to issues raised by men's high school lacrosse coaches. NILCA conducts its annual meeting in association with the IMLCA Convention
